Govt. Islamia Graduate College, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore organized a First Aid and CPR Training Session in collaboration with the Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122), Government of the Punjab, to mark World First Aid Day on 12 September.

The session started from Naat, Tilawat followed by Nationa Anthem and session was led by Principal Prof. Dr. Shahida Sohail and attended by Vice Principals, faculty members, and students. Rescue 1122 instructors trained the students through practical demonstrations and hands-on practice, focusing on CPR, basic life support, first aid, and appropriate emergency response techniques.

Participants were also guided to register through cpr.gov.pk as part of Punjab’s initiative to promote CPR awareness and develop a nation of life savers.

The training session provided students with valuable practical skills and enhanced their confidence to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
