GIGC Closing Ceremony of 53rd Sports Gala 2026

The grand finale and closing ceremony of 53rd Sports Gala 2026 was held today with great enthusiasm, where the final matches of various sports were played and the event concluded successfully.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Cheif Guest, DPI Colleges Punjab, Prof. Dr. Ansar Azhar Hussain, guest of honour, Director Colleges Lahore Division, Prof. Ahsan Mukhtar, along with esteemed guests Prof. Faqir Muhammad Kayfi, Mr. Muhammad Ahtasham Jan Butt (Director General, DPIC Punjab), Mrs. Syed Ansar Azhar, and Prof. Naghma Tehseen.

The honorable guests distributed awards and trophies among the position holders and winners of various sports events.

Program was hosted by Mr. Sohail Zafar Rana and Ms. Faiza Iqbal. Throughout the Sports Gala, both male and female students actively participated and performed in different sports with great courage, discipline, and enthusiasm, reflecting true sportsmanship and team spirit.

The event was organized by Mr. Amir Bedar along with the Sports Committee, under the kind supervision and leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. Shahida Sohail, whose guidance and encouragement played a key role in making the 53rd Sports Gala 2026 a remarkable success.

Faculty members, students, and the college administration actively participated, making the closing ceremony a memorable celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition.
